Program Description
To organize staff appreciation lunches, 4 times a year, through local restaurants for teachers and staff to show gratitude for their hard work in teaching and caring for Bret Harte children everyday. These lunches are funded through donations received by BHCC. Volunteer Responsibilities Volunteers can bring desserts, water, help set up and clean up on the designated day . In case they are time crunched, volunteers can also give cash donations to BHCC and the chairs/ co-chairs can go shopping for them. Chair Responsibilities The chairs/ co-chairs look for different cuisine options, get the best price available (within the assigned budget) for that without compromising the food quality, order the food and ensure timely delivery or pick up from the restaurant. They are also responsible (with the help of the volunteers) for setting up the food and tables to make it inviting and appealing to the staff, and later to clean up.
