Project Cornerstone

Program Description
The program is part of the YMCA in Silicon Valley. Their mission is to build a community where all adults support children & teenagers so that they thrive. Project Cornerstone works to mobilize our entire community to shift from simply reacting to children and youth … to connecting with them so that they can succeed. This program has partnered with schools like Bret Harte to increase specific developmental assets in all youth in Silicon Valley. Developmental assets range from concepts of support, empowerment, boundaries, commitment to learning, social skills, and positive identities. These assets are the foundations that help our students form positive values, relationships, and experiences. It helps young people excel!
