Be on the lookout for BRONCO BUCKS!

Did you know you can be a lucky gift card winner for simply demonstrating positive character traits at school?

Teachers are handing out Bronco Bucks to students who demonstrate assets such as Caring, Cooperation, Confidence, Commitment to Excellence, Good Judgement, Honesty, Helping Others, Reliability, Responsibility or Respect.  If a teacher sees that you have demonstrated one of these assets they might award you with a BRONCO BUCK!  Bring this Bronco Buck to the BH office and you will be entered into a raffle to win a Starbucks or Chick-fil-A or Amazon gift card!  There are THREE student winners every week so it's never too late to show your teachers how many of these assets you have.  There will be a participating teacher winner once a month for a $50 Amazon gift card for acknowledging the good traits of the students. Chances of winning for students are pretty good because we will be selecting winners all throughout the school year.  We've already had 6 student winners.  Good luck Teachers and Students..!!

BHCC Donation Drive - Important Update!

THANK YOU to everyone who has so kindly donated to the BHCC donation drive.  We are at 86% of our budget for the year!  Please consider helping us reach 100%.  Any amount is appreciated and will help support our teachers and students.  Funds have been used this school year to buy technology, such as: iPads, Apple pens, microphones, cables, batteries, Apple TV, green screen, and software to help the teachers provide more effective instruction.  Donations have also helped support our new music teacher, Mr. Miranda, in building the band program through instrument repairs and new equipment.  Your contributions will assist us in running important student programs like: Cornerstone, Everyday Heroes, Career Day, and Bronco Nights.  Help us reach 100% of our budget - we are close!

Let’s Support Our Wonderful Staff and Teachers!!  Join the PEST Program!!
The PEST (Parents Encouraging Staff & Teachers) Program is a Staff Appreciation Program organized by the Bret Harte Community Club. As a PEST volunteer, you will “secretly” support a wonderful staff member/teacher throughout the school year. There are no committee meetings to attend, and you participate on your own schedule. It's a great way to brighten the day for our hard-working staff members and teachers!

When you sign up (below), you can request which staff members/teachers you would like to PEST. Soon you will receive an email letting you know which staff member/teacher you have been assigned, along with information about their favorite snacks, drinks, stores, etc. The parent then anonymously supports this staff member/teacher throughout the school year with cards expressing appreciation or encouragement, favorite treats, holiday messages, birthday surprises and/or other low-cost items on a regular basis (about one to two times per month). Everything is on your own schedule, so it's very flexible and easy, but makes a big difference to our staff members/teachers.  You can have your child deliver the surprise or have your child give it to a friend to deliver to your assigned staff member/teacher.  If you would like to drop off the gift yourself, please call the office and make an appointment to drop it off (Parents are not allowed on campus without an appointment this year). Your identity will be revealed to your staff member/teacher at the end of the school year.

To see photos of happy teachers receiving their gifts from their PESTs or testimonials on how much our staff members/teachers appreciate the PEST program, please visit the PEST Program website here.

Thank you for your interest in the Community Club’s support of our staff and teachers!!  If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
