During this unusual time of distance learning, we would like to continue to support our teachers and students. We hope to provide teachers with distance learning supplies and PPE, continue to recognize outstanding student and teacher effort, provide virtual parent education, and fund other programs and needs as they arise. We are asking for a $150 donation or any amount that you are able to contribute. There are multiple ways to donate:

The BHCC website: https://sjbhcc.weebly.com/online-donation-drive.html

Visiting PayPal directly

  1. Visit http://www.paypal.com
  2. Select to send money to [email protected]
  3. Enter the desired amount to send

Support BHCC while you shop! Use the link below every time you order from Amazon and a portion of your purchase will be donated to BHCC: smile.amazon.com/ch/77-0342966.

Use "Bret Harte Educational Association" as our organization name for any corporate matching or charitable giving programs. Contact [email protected] if our Tax ID is needed for your forms.

The PEST (Parents Encouraging Staff & Teachers) program is a staff appreciation program provided by the Bret Harte Community Club. PESTs are parent volunteers who support our wonderful staff and teachers throughout the school year. There are no meetings to attend, and you participate on your own schedule. It's an easy, great way to brighten someone's day!

PEST volunteers will be assigned a staff member or teacher and given some information about him or her. This year will be a little different, since parents and students are not allowed to step on campus to drop off cards and gifts. It will be even simpler for the PESTs since everything will be virtual. You can send quick emails of encouragement, holiday messages, an e-gift card, birthday surprise and/or other gestures of appreciation on a regular basis (once or twice a month). It’s super fun and easy!

Please use this sign up link. Thank you for your interest in the Community Club’s support of our staff and teachers. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
Thank you for supporting our book fair! The fair may be over, but you can continue to shop at Scholastic Book Fair and earn 2% of your purchase toward funding the Bret Harte Library.
"Hurry, your team has 60 minutes to discover clues, pattern recognition, decode messages, and mathematical reasoning in order to complete an assigned task to ultimately unlock the door to escape!"

Save the date for our virtual escape room family night! The event will cost $40/family with prizes being awarded and a portion of the proceeds going to support BHCC. Look for ticket information in the next week or two, just in time for the holidays!
