The Community Club Donation Drive is in progress and we need your support! The Community Club supports our students and staff by providing staff lunches, equipment, and supplies for classrooms, student dances, student recognition, anti-bullying programs as well as our Request For Funding Program. Though we have asked for $250 per student any amount is appreciated. You are able to contribute by downloading the form and paying by check or by using PayPal. Both options can be found by visiting the Membership Drive page of the BHCC website. We would also like to encourage you to pursue any corporate matching that may be available through your workplace in order to further support BHCC. If you are in need of a receipt for your corporate matching please send an email request to [email protected].

Parent Speaker Event

Filmmaker and physician Dr. Delaney Ruston takes the conversation around screens and teens to the next level with Screenagers NEXT CHAPTER: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience — a film that examines the science behind teen’s emotional challenges, the interplay of social media, and most importantly, what can be done in our schools and homes to help them build crucial skills to navigate stress, anxiety, and depression in our digital age.

Project Cornerstone

November’s Cornerstone Awards Ceremony honored 25 students who were nominated by their teachers for demonstrating the character asset of "Good Judgement" on campus. They were nominated because they have shown concern for fairness and the welfare of those involved. They make careful decisions. And they possess freedom from preconceptions and biases. These students received personal recognition from the Bret Harte staff, teachers and principal at a ceremony in front of their parents on November 14th. Thank you to these students for being wonderful role models and making Bret Harte a great community!
