8th Grade Promotion Dance
- "A Night Under the Stars"

The Bret Harte Class of 2019 has cordially invited your 8th grade student to attend an unforgettable and fun event on May 31, 2019 from 7-10 PM in the Bret Harte Cafeteria. Games, photo booth, DJ dancing, dinner and dessert will be provided.

Please have your child drop off their Promotion Dance permission slip and $30 check in the office today. Tickets will not be sold at the door. No exceptions. Click this link to print your permission slip.

There is a lot of preparation required to create this amazing event but it cannot happen without lots and lots of parent volunteers. We need your help! We need everyone’s help! Please click this link to sign up today. You can sign up for as many shifts as you can manage. A coordinator will contact you directly to explain your task in detail. Thank you in advance!

Math Olympics

This year we have approximately 220 students participating in the 2nd annual Bret Harte Math Olympics. The Olympics are organized by the Math Department and the Bret Harte Community Club. The event is open to all Bret Harte students. Students complete fun math activities in teacher classrooms, enjoy donated snacks while math activities are being graded, then attend a brief awards ceremony in the gym. Prizes are given out to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams by math class category. All students receive a Certificate of Participation. The Math Olympics event is a fun way to promote learning and community across all students and families at Bret Harte!
