RFF Request Process

RFF Process for Bret Harte Teachers

1. Submit RFF requests - use the Submit Request button below during the submission period (usually the month of Aug for 1st semester and Dec-Jan for 2nd semester)
2. Submission approval - you will receive a confirmation email from the RFF Chair once your submission has been approved
3. Purchase approved items - wait for approval email before purchasing
4. Submit reimbursement request - use the Get Reimbursed button below once the purchased items have been received

Frequently Asked Questions​

What items can be requested?

Any items that assist with your teaching efforts and/or improve the students' learning experience are eligible. This includes materials and equipment like microscopes, portable whiteboards, lighting & A/V equipment, reference books/posters, digital instructional material, and accessories.

WHat items cannot be requested?

Furniture, laptops and other technology items usually provided and supported by the school district are not eligible.

Is there a price limit for requests?

No, there is no price limit for individual requests within the limit of the overall RFF budget. Larger items that can benefit multiple teachers or a department are encouraged. Requests for items that exceed the budget will still be consider but may require additional approval time.

How long does it take for approval?

Approval emails are usually sent 1-2 weeks after the submission.

when will i be reimbursed?

Reimbursements can be submitted as soon as your purchase is received. Reimbursement payments are typically made twice a month and are usually received in less than 2 weeks.
